NFM are getting involved in alot of charity support, one thing we also like to do is stand by our customers. one of our customers West Cornwall Pasty Co rarely get involved or ask for charitable donations for their connected charities but four of their staff members are embarking on a gruelling trek all for a very good cause.
The West Cornwall Pasty Try-athletes, will be canoeing, hiking and cycling their way through Exmoor as part of the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge 2019. All the money raised goes to the Rainbow trust – a charity which works tirelessly to support families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness and need specialist support on day to day basis and for Student Minds, a charity whose work and support has a current personal connection to two members of their team, to help support young students with mental health challenges, and give them the confidence, skills and knowledge to look after their condition.
Taking part in the “tough” category, this will be no walk in the (national) park! The routes are kept a closely guarded secret until the day of the event, however a 13 week training programme is recommended in order for the route to even be completed!
